Among the YES network, there is a special International Exchange Network for regional development. The name of this network is European International Friendship Cities Association. This association was registered in 2011, following the formation of the Chinese International Friendship Cities' Association - a similar policy.
Many European cities have their own relationship with specific cities in China, developing different exchanges and projects in different ways. With the latest change in global politics, many friendship city relations have sadly ended.
However, we believe international exchanges are important. How to deal with a city on another continent? What is the mutual benefit for both partners? What are the expectations from the other side? YES provides know-how training, analyzes advantages for the European city, and finds a potential partner city for possible projects. We encourage European cities to share their own know-how and experience with China.
We are looking for partners who are interested in developing an EU project with YES for this purpose.
